Schindly - Rise & Connect

Schindly is a conversational agent to promote socialization between elevator passengers, developed during my internship course at Schindler Milan Hub. It is both a mobile and web app that a passenger can use to do a destination call and monitor Schindler elevators. It has also a chat with an assistant (Azure OpenAI) called Schindly tweaked to interact in a friendly manner. The backend exploits both MQTT and Schindler CoLab APIs to interact with the elevator equipment.

PeekABook

PeekaBook is a hybrid tangible and online game for remote storytelling between grandparents and grandchildren, developed for the "Advanced User Interfaces" course at Politecnico of Milano. It is composed of a physical board with three inserts and buttons: the child inserts their favorite characters and presses the buttons to answers quizzes. The choices are reflected on the web platform where the grandparent can create a story with the aid of sound effects, illustrations, and animations.

It was written using the NuxtJS frontend framework alongside the Leaflet library for map visualization; it uses Spring Boot for the backend.

CLup - Customer Line Up is a mobile and web application to book grocery shops' slots during the COVID-19 pandemic and final test of the "Software Engineering 2" course at Politecnico di Milano. The two main functionalities of the application were reserving a slot (ASAP mode) or queuing for the first available one. Through Firebase authentication, the system supports three user types: Store Admin, Store Assistant, and normal user. The first one creates and handles the shop page, while the second one scans QR codes (tickets) or generates them on the spot.
